Limit controls, which are provided with the standard

2
years ----- Factory labor on all items needing replacement in
continental United States.
Parts are
replaced under warranty when they become nonfunctional by QED
standards.
All parts are to be returned to QED freight prepaid. QED personnel do all labor,
no labor is reimbursed to others, other than with prior QED factory
personnel’s clear written or faxed factory authorization. All
replacement parts must come directly from QED to be considered for
warranty. This warranty
extends well beyond the manufactures warranty to QED. If we find
parts being exchanged from other dryers or parts being removed and
used elsewhere, the entire warranty will be considered void. Due to the distance to
different locations where the dryers become located we only charge
for Expenses to and from the job site. All labor is paid by QED.
Expenses include mileage, air port parking and air fair if
needed.
Not included are any parts
added by others or any parts ordered as specials to replace one of
our standard controls.
Not included are any items abused, misused, or not properly
maintained. These
include lubrication of bearings and gear
reducers, once a year on a
seasonal dryer, or once every 1000 hours which ever comes
first. Also excluded
are acts of vandalism, improper use, single phasing by power company
or fuses, wind damage, lightning, acts of God, fires, and other
items covered by insurance.
In order to maintain coverage
after the second year a spring preseason factory check is
required. The customer
would pay for labor, travel & expenses. It requires the customer to
clean the dryer completely prior to the service call, and then call
QED.
This warranty requires the user
to keep all guards in place, to have cages and step off’s as
required by OSHA. The
user is also required to make sure all gas leaks are fixed, to keep
all control panels closed and safe, to provide proper training for
operating personnel, and to keep the manual available for safe
service and operation.
We cannot make your personnel replace guards after servicing
our equipment and you must be responsible for safety. No added equipment or
field-changed equipment is included in the QED warranty or in its
liability. Placement of
the dryer and meeting local dust, noise, electric, and gas codes are
the customer’s responsibility.
This warranty is not
transferable from the original user. Warranty is limited to five
years from date of shipment or 10,000 hours, of control panel
operating time, for processors and year around users. Export Warranty is for parts
only for one year from shipping date and does not include freight,
labor, travel, any expenses, installation, or start
up.
All personnel should be trained on the operation and
safety procedures for electrical, gas, and mechanical problems. We supply all dryers with
emergency dump slides under the screen columns and above the
discharge for emergency dumping in case of fire. The new racking system
prevents trash build up but improper filling and cleaning can cause
a problem in any dryer system, which uses flame to dry agricultural
products.
QED wants you to enjoy
the best warranty in the drying business, safely, with very little
cleaning, downtime, maintenance, and greater peace of
mind.
